So what happens to me lately ?

i apologize for not blogging lately because of laziness ? LOL...

Went to Ida & Jerome's 21st b'day party last night in Hosanna Heights .

There were lots of people celebrating their ever and only 21st .

We started the BBQ flame at 5pm , now i know it's not easy for a person to stand /sit (usually stand) to start the fire & to look after it so it won't get burn .

I met some new friends there , which i can't remember their name now =)

I received my last assignment somewhere on Sat ,

lucky me i got a Credit !

I was in a deep worry throughout the marking week ,

afraid that i might Fail or whatever which make me redo the assignment .

But when i was in church last few weeks ,

i began to pray to God

'God, You are the only one who can help me to pass my assignment , i must at least get a Pass 1'

And so , I did , even a better result .

How amazing is that !!!

However this is not over yet , one more Aboriginal culture assignment worth 1500 words is going to due on 11 oct , 5pm .

I HATE HATE HATE it !!!

Why can't i enjoy my 2 weeks sem break with joy ,

here comes the assignment disturbing my holiday mood .

J and I went to the ANZ nearby to open a new joint-bank-account .

When the accountant lady asked us 'So what's the reason you get this account together?'

J : erm.... to prove that we are together ?

By next week, we both each will receive a debit visa card .

It's good that with this account , he will take control of my money .

I will bank in my rental money every fortnight into that joint account .

Can i reach the star ?

First of all , i wanna thank God for giving me the strength & power last night .

I started work in the morning , came home for an hour sleep , then resume afternoon shift again .

After that , went to gym for 2 hours & ran/walk for half an hour (4.45km) .

How is that AMAZED!!!

I wonder am i eating enough ?

Anywhere , I'm going to join the Westpac Stair Climb on the 08 Oct '10 .

It is the highest building in the state ,

30 floors & 135m !!!

This is a very great opportunity to challenge myself ,

& whoever finish the race/walk , can view adelaide city from the tallest building .

This is a fundraiser for children's cancer .

I don't know if i can finish the race with the limited stamina i have ,

for now , i just want to train myself .

This afternoon , going to the Westpac House & have a try , see if i can make it !

I knew this random girl few years ago in Adelaide .

She always wrote great things about what God did for her which made her a successful EN .

She work very hard to achieved her goal ,

it's good to know her !

Well Flo , no doubt that i was born in a Christian family ,

my family & relatives go to the Catholic church in Kuching .

They taught me to go to church regularly as a Christian .

Always love & serve God .

& now i want to shout to the whole world that i did it , in FAITH !

As mentioned, i joined the gym on Friday .

Ever since that day , i am very keen to go to the gym everyday . haha...

I was very tired , exhausted after first day of exercise in gym .

Muscle sore in my arms & both legs , but after 3 days , i couldn't feel anything , i felt more alive instead , which is a good thing =)

Great thing happen on Sat night in Paradise Community Church .

It was Hillsong United concert !

Such a meaningful concert only A$10 .

They (i think a group of 9 ) came all the way from Sydney .

Most of their presented song during the night was from 'Faith+Hope+Love' album .

I could imagine the crowd , those young teenage were screaming , shouting for them , include me as well =)

Now it's time to go to class =]

Hi blog :

I know i should give you some love by writing something on your wall .

Now just before i head off to bed ,

im just going to write about things that happen to me these few days !

I think i am starting to build a very strong & close relationship with God , our heavenly Father .

I have to admit sometimes i'm kind of lazy to wake up early then go to church .

Ever since Jee came back in July , we started going to Paradise Church every Fri night & Sun service . Somehow there is a very strong attraction which attract me to go to church every Fri & Sun, without missing ! At first , i love the music (the way they present their song & praise God), some people may not like it . After that , weeks by weeks i started realised that God is in my heart , & i am willing to give my time , strength & soul to God ! There is a strong powerful connection between Us which i can't explain in words . & with that strong connection , i am happy with my life & that's why i ended up joining gym .Maybe there's a message from God, that i must keep fit & healthy because i'm still young ?!

So i joined Jetts in Newton , & it's only A$17.95 per fortnight , membership fee A$104 WITHOUT ANY CONTRACT !!!

I had a sort of 'cooking class' from Christina this evening .

She taught me a few simple dishes .

The very first dish : LAKSA !

Can't describe how great & awesome was that dish ,

(sorry guys ,im not good in describing things )

but it cannot compare to the one i used to eat in Kuching .

I found that cooking wasn't that hard as i thought .

I just need some idea of what to cook , THAT'S IT !

Can't wait to celebrate my 21st with friends on Monday night !

Went to China Town Market this morning & I bought 2kgs of chicken wings for $4.90 , 2 packs of sausages $3.48 each , soft drinks $1.19 each .

Actually my plan was to invite 21 guests to my party .

Now only 14 on the list at the moment .

This shows that i only have this much of close friends in Adelaide after 3 years here ?

Im afraid not because some of them have work , late class etc ,

that is why i set the party to Monday instead of weekends .

My birthday cake this year would be special, i think !

You know sometimes when people come to your b'day party & they give excuses of not eating your cake ? They could just leave the piece of cake on the party table & walk away .

In my party, this is what i hate the most - NOT EATING MY B'DAY CAKE !

This year, i request Jane to make a very special b'day cake for me.

It features 21 cup cakes !

This is so that every guests must eat my birthday cake . haha..

I think should write everyone's name on it so i know who is not eating !

I had a hair cut + hair dye this afternoon done by a Korean hairdresser .

Honestly i have to admit that I DON'T LIKE COOKING !
im just not into & not very keen to cook seriously i have to say .
but hey... this is what i have to do in a few days time where my housemate is not cooking for A WEEK ( i hope she read my blog )
it's like end of the world to me !!!
I'm lucky enough to have my best buddy Christina to cook a few meals for me .
Even so , i have to prepare for my own lunch also . T__T
My lunch could be as easy as 123 .
Sandwich , cereals , porridge , snack food ( i know it's not good for health ) etc ...
I have quite a healthy breakfast though -- bread + bacon + egg .

I wonder how is my brother getting on with his life in KL .
could still remember the last time i called him, it took 45 minutes !

My internet at home is over the limit so i can't really get access into Facebook .
For now, good night !

Work today was allright although some resident gave me a hard time .
I couldn't believe i'm doing more morning shift than before .
Important note : PAY INCREASE since end of July ! YAY!!!
This happen to every staff members across Australia . (i don't know about other sectors)

Bought myself a Razer keyboard last week as a reward of ... working too hard ?
That's funny huh ! =)

Am planning to buy myself another amazing present for my 21st !
Should make use of my tax return money after all the hard work .
Don't i deserve it ?

Do not love money as God will not fail you !
But sometime in life we really need money , now everyone in the world is talking about money , & every expenses is rising & we have no clue when is that going to end !
Hopefully the change of Aus new PM will make life easier .

Oh I hate winter - spring cause i hate rain the most .
Clothes can't be wash every week now cause it takes time to dry .
What i do normally is to hang my clothes in my room, then i have my heater to dry them, sometimes it takes a few days though !

First of all, my biggest apologies for not updating my blog .
Everything went well ,
school holiday is over and now everyone is back to school .
Well at least for me , my Cultural Perspectives on Health held every Monday .
So basically i only head off to Uni every Mon morning .

With God blessing I passed all my 3 subjects last semester .
& there is no exam for my current subject ,
this does not mean that i will 100% pass this sub ,
i've got to pass 3 assignments ,
all those 3 assignments will touch deeply into Aboriginal / refugees / migrant culture and into their community .
How am i to know their culture & values .
i must take some time to read & find out more about their culture & belief .
Library !!! It's time to find out more from YOU, library !

Few more weeks to my 21st birthday !
Currently still planning on a party .
Hopefully most of my invited guests will turn up .

I was late this morning to work .
My shift start at 0800 , & i woke up half an hour before that .
Probably cause of talking to J late last night .
It was all right after all ,
i stayed half an hour more , helping Maggie & Rossie to finish up their job .

Mon is a public holiday for Queen's birthday .
as time flies ,
the FIFA world Cup tomorrow night for the very first match between South Africa VS Mexico !!!

one of my beloved resident whom had just passed away .

She just won't eat or drink ,
all she did before she 'goes' was lying in bed whole day ,
she din't even have to shower .
That's just show that she willingly give up her life .

I survived this weekDAYS and weekENDs ,
i filled most of the days last week with busy work .
i thought i could take a day or two days off,
but when i thought of my holiday in Melbourne
i can't stop working and picking up shifts .

Workplace job is getting tougher than before .
2 residents had past away this month
and now we have 2 beds empty .
This is not a joke !
St. George get together staff dinner on 5June ,
should i go ?

Went for fire training @ my workplace at 1400 .
LiMa & I were just in time for it , we were just 2 min late !
lucky Mahroo took our attendance ,
if not we will be considered absent .
in the course of absent for this time ,
we will then receive a warning letter from her !
after 3 times of warning ,
according to her we WILL BE fired by her !!!

LiMa & i were suppose to meet each other for lunch before our fire training .
we agreed to meet up at the gate of St. George at 1230 .
but something came up ,
& i ended up picking her nearby her place .
I was lost on the way to her place - mile end road !
living here in SA for 3 years, im still frustrated where is mile end road !
but anywhere , we stop by at one of the burger shop for lunch !
actually that doesn't consider lunch for me ,
it's just a simple snack to me .

i should have a good sleep tonight ,
i think i would be working these few days until my Melb trip comes ^^

21 the BIG thing

Turning 21 is a monumental event, and should be celebrated accordingly.
At 21, i'm officially an adult and legal to consume alcohol .
The important thing is that i have fun and celebrate safely, among family and friends .
Wow ! The first thing that strict me is to THROW A PARTY !!!
Think about where i would like the party to be at before making out the invitations .
Call everyone i know and remind them that 18 August is the big day and no excuse will be accepted for failure to appear .
Make a wish .

Celebration with my own family will be great .
Either at a favorite restaurant, or maybe they will each bring a dish to someones house .
The best part of dinning at a restaurant is no one has to cook or clean up .
Dinning at a relatives is nice,especially if everyone brings something.

Get a little wild and loose (and don't want to do so in front of family),
invite friends to a favorite night spot.
Dinning, drinking and dancing can be a great time when done responsibly .
Dancing is not my type ?
Try a karaoke nightclub, concert, comedy club, play, a movie(and dinner) with friends .
it's just girls night out !

If i've got the money, plan a real getaway.
For a day,a weekend, a week, whatever.
It doesn't even have to be out of state,maybe a nearby spa treatment with just a couple of close girlfriends.
Maybe there is a nearby outlet mall i've always wanted to visit.
Visit places I never been before, travel can be great .

W-O-W this could be a BIG thing - 21

Having holiday would be fun & exciting , i think !
i say so because i am having an upcoming mid-year uni holiday starting June till Dec .
During this period of time , imma going to work as much as i could to fulfill my plan for Msia trip somewhere during summer .
i wanna escape this summer period, if i could !

Life is just flat ,
nothing interesting !
The one & only interest me is that imma going to Melbourne next Wed for few days with Esther =)
Im quite looking forward to it , not because of the weather OF COS .
it's great to see the other part of AUS .
It would be a shame to tell others 'OH, i've been in aussie for 3 years, & i've only been to Perth SO FAR... ...'!!!

Easter Sunday and Monday, shops are all closed !
I hate this feeling where you can't go anywhere but staying at home doing nothing .
My housemates went fishing somewhere which i don't know where ,
i was left behind at home because i felt sick .
I was meant to wake up at 9am ,
but i ended up waking up an hour before my alarm rings .
I just have to get use of this daylight saving .

Anywhere , i felt a bit nausea and my forehead was a bit warm (temperature rising ).
So i went back to sleep until 2.30pm .
Dad & mum,
do not worry about me ,
i'm absolutely fine now !

We were having holiday since Fri ,
everything will be back to normal tomorrow .
Catch the bus to school ,
work !

He's gone for 2 weeks

I'm doing fine here in Kuching .
& for your information ,
im spending my precious holiday with my lovely family in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah .
We woke up early in the morning to go to the very famous Mount Kinabalu .
The taxi driver drove us all the way there & back ,
it took rm250 !!!
anw , i did managed to climb as far as 0.5km .
that wasn't too bad .

Im hoping to go back to Adelaide asap to help J with his visa .
i really hope that he could stay with me in Adelaide

Finally this day has come !
the day of my last shift then I GONGXIFACAI . . .

the minute i said 'good-bye' to my lovely residents & staff ,
i cried in my heart !
'I'm going for my holiday to my country , i'll see you when i get back.'
and their reactions were 'OH no ! i'm going to miss you.' (stuff like that)
i could still remember their expression as well ,
they were crying too !
anw , i hope the number of beds will not change until i go back . ( you know what i mean )
some of them are nice ,
some of them are just being silly .
take for example this morning while i was showering a lady ,
she was screaming 'GET OUT !' & was trying to punch us .
anw , i'm having a break & not thinking of the nasty one who gave me a hard time .

Can't believe Jan 2010 is coming to an end .
Australia day is over .
16 more days until Chinese New Year .
This is an update for what's happening over the last 2 days .

25th Jan - Dinner / small gathering at Ivy's place .
As in my previous post i did mention .

Then late at night ,
a birthday surprise for Mr. Jee ,
and YAY he is now , FINALLY 21 .
He can have a key ( freedom ) .
I'm waiting for mine too !
OMG is this a hint or something ?

26th Jan : Hahndorf trip
This year , we decided to take the bus and head off to Adelaide Hills , Hahndorf .
It took us roughly 45 mins to reach our destination .
We had lunch at German Arms Hotel .

As soon as we walk out , there were a pair of horses caught our attention !
Many of us suggested to take a 'horse ride' ,
and we did !
It was actually 20 bucks per person ( for adult ) ,
but they gave us a special price for just 100 bucks for 7 person .
Awesome so we hoop into it .

The horses took us to the well known strawberry farm !
I HAVE NEVER SEE OR EVEN STEP INTO A STRAWBERRY FARM BEFORE
in my entire life !

Allright , it was A$3 per person for entry ,
and they give you a small plastic container to collect your strawberry ,
and at the end before leaving the farm ,
you gonna pay A$9 ( per kg ) , i think , for the strawberry you have collected !
Those little strawberry although they look small ,
but it was so sweet ,
so that's why it was worth a visit !

I was awake by J, drove him to Uni SA for his English test .

Summer and the heatwave will be coming soon .
Air condition should be fix ASAP !

Anw , i won't be 'enjoying' the heat in Feb .
During that time i will be in my hometown with my family celebrating CNY .

It's like everyone of my friend has updated their blog
and i need to get mine done as well.
This could hardly happen ( update blog ) because
nothing much happen to my life
besides working and sleeping.
But other than that, im looking forward so much
on going home next month !
Thinking about spending time with my family & close relatives & friends,
it give me inspiration to work even more harder !
So i need to make & save money ( i did, indeed =) ).

SA received the most humid and hot weather all year.
Over the city in SA,
the mercury went up to 42 c on Mon then 43 c on Tues ! ! !
Let me tell you the feeling : IT'S LIKE IN THE OVEN BBQing YOURSELF !
Room temperature : min 38 c
Outdoor : 42 c
There are NO AIR-CON in my house ,
only air cooler and fan could HARDLY SATISFIED me.
Worst come to worst , we desperately went to a friend's house just for the air-con.
Or stay inside in a local supermarket.
Yesterday was a F.U.L.L.S.T.O.P. for the heatwave.
Thank God it was raining cats and dogs in the morning and
i slept until noon time.

'31 dead in heatwave'

AT least 31 people have perished in South Australia's 40 degree-plus heatwave, while firefighters are battling huge blazes threatening homes, power installations and a coalmine in Victoria.

This year is a very special year for me.
It is my first year in UNI SA.
I have been living in Adelaide for 3 years! hurray...
As time flies, my age grows as well.
I have meet lots of different people from Uni and also from my workplace.
Talking about my workplace - St.George's Park Nursing Home,
Thank God I have a steady job and I do not want to lose it.
I spent most of my time there.
I love my work place although sometimes people at work often... ...
All I can say is people are different in a different ways.
When I started working in the community,
I knew that earning money is NOT EASY! ! !
And to face with different people who have different skin color and different culture,
is really a very tough job.
Sometimes in some situation, it makes me just want to give up and walk away.

This year March, I spent 3 months in M'sia.
All I did was hanging out with school mates and
eat and sleep!
It was really a LOOONG holiday for me that time.
I wish that time could stop during that period of time.
But... I couldn't be staying like that forever.
I need to work and spend my own hard earn money. $_$

After I came back from M'sia to Aus in May 09,
I moved into a shared house with Elvina.
After a few months, I moved again into Campbeltown somewhere in Oct 09.

Now that 2009 is ending soon in a few hours,
I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!
I am going home again in Feb 2010.
I've missed 2 years of Chinese New Year ever since I came overseas.
Goodbye for now, 2009!

Finally Christmas is here!

I was waiting for this day to come - it's not because of the celebration, but it's toward the end of 2009 and I can go home soon!
This year x'mas is nothing to me without family and relatives, without any celebration, the feeling is no good!
The only good thing is I was paid A$41 per hour.
My hometown is MUCH MORE BETTER!

I used to love Christmas before I came to Aus.
Before Christmas come, my cousin and I will shop for pressie.
Then we will place all the gift under a x'mas tree,
then during x'mas eve we will exchange pressie among ourselves.
Now I have to buy my own pressie and no more surprise ! ! !

Okay this morning I did a morning shift from 0730 - 1300.
Get residents ready (those including feeding breakfast, showering, grooming etc) for Christmas lunch with family and relatives.
All visitors were served with turkey.
I love it!
TA DA... ... ...

Staffs of St. George's were served with turkey as well. This is mine! ^^

Residents were having their christmas lunch with family and their relatives.

I just realized, my blog is getting more and more boring

Am I too greedy in terms of money?

Now is the time to pack all my school books, those that will make me think of school, assignments and exam! When I go to school, I think of exam and assignments which drive me crazy. . .

Adelaide had an EXTREME HOT/ HEAT WAVE for 7 DAYS! ! !
This is gonna be a starting for summer.
This was reported to be the hottest ever in SA in the month of November.
Last weekend we bought an air cooler,
or else our room is gonna be as hot as an oven.

I love summer,

FINALLY this is the time for me to sit, lay back and blog.
I have been living in my new-moved-in house for 2 weeks WITHOUT INTERNET !
So yea, past 2 weeks was a 'bye-bye Rostrevor, hello Campbeltown'.
I have heaps and heaps to blog during the 'internet break'.
Everything went will here. I really L.O.V.E. this house.
Rent was cheapER and I have no worry about meal, AT ALL.

Let the photos tell the stories:

-Moving from Rostrevor to Campbeltown-

Ben (my new housemate) and his mate were helping us moving the bed, mattress, table and chair by a trailer. They rented the trailer for 50 bucks per day.

Note: It was a great hot day and it were tiring for them to lift and carry under the sun.

-Dining area-
After a day transferring and unpacking thigs, the house looked clean and tidy after an effort of cleaning and vacuuming.

-My housemate-
Jee, Ron & Esther. They were exhausted after a busy day.

Our landlord, Ferry and his wife, Yenny were preparing dinner for us.
We had BBQ with Peter, John, Jennifer and Jacinta.

Overall, I would rate this house 8/10.
2 more marks to make it 10.
WHY?
Because of the air-conditioner.
We are craving for it as the weather is so freaking and bloody hot!!!
Could harder sleep at night, it really gave me a night mare.

I suffered lots from packing and moving house.
This will be my FOURTH time moving into another house!!! since I came to Adelaide.
I'm giving a red warning here that I swear I won't move again!
This time I move for good, so... doesn't matter.

On Tuesday and Wed, I was busy packing up all my clothes first, because out of all my 'properties', the most I have is my clothes. All those small little ting-ting-tong-tong can be pack later.

So can you imagine I need 5 BAGS to pack all my clothing?
Again red warning to warn me of not shopping for clothing anymore.
But I can never promise that. ='(

Second day, I packed most of the stuff including all the books, cosmetics, lotions and yea, most of the ting-ting and tong-tong.

Tomorrow 30 Oct will be the day I move to another place.
I can't wait!

Bubble Car Wash!

I was planning to blog last night, but the internet was running slower and slower.

Our car had a shower yesterday evening.
We gave it an overall wash, clean, polish and wax.
It was an all-in-one car wash.
Before the car wash, we headed to K-mart for the items below:
Turtle Wax, glass cleaner, wash & Wax and scratch & swirl remover. and also some wiping clothes.

The first thing to do before a car wash is to rinse the car with water to remove excess dirt and grime. But we DID NOT do so!
We went to the next step instead:
1. Poured 30ml of the Wash & Wax into bucket and mix thoroughly with water.

2. He washed the car in sections with cloth.
3. and I rinse it after cleaning each section.
4. Dry.

After the cleaning and rinsing, then come the polish and wax.

Before this the car have lots of scratches caused by me.
At that time I really don't know how to wash and clean a car, so that's why...
So now the car need lots of waxing and polish to look presentable.
While he was busy polishing & waxing the bubble car, I was trying to do something: wiping & cleaning all the glasses. Hopefully there is no scratches left behind, if not I'll be in dead trouble.

After an hour of those clean and wax (I suppose), the bubble car is now as shinny as it suppose to be. Not to mention this, the car has lots of bird 'pang-sai', and that was really embarrassing.
Right now because of the excess hot weather, I parked the car in the garage.

My Dream House part I

I always wanting to have my own dream home after I get married. I'm really hoping for a simple little house with my love ones. So for today's posting, I've decided to blog about 'My Dream Home'.

Let's start of with the bedroom. We need sleep every single day after a heavy work in the office. I want our bedroom to be warm and inviting as well as a place to keep us from the stress. Bedroom is where I will spend the rest of the day with my love one, sharing each others thoughts. My dream bedroom will be something like the photo below:

I want all sheets to be bright color, with a side table beside, a vase and a small lamp. Simple and tidy is all I want so I could save the cleaning fees. ;p

Attach with the bedroom, I want to own a built in wardrobe. The only reason why is because I could save on buying a wardrobe from IKEA or wherever.

Full height mirror doors are the perfect solution. This kind of 'mirror wardrobe' save me from buying another full length mirror.

Next, the bath-room. Bathroom is where I will spend most of my time doing facial, put on make up, 'lotioning', and dressing. I spent mostly half an hour in my bathroom, usually 10-15 mins showering. I shower every morning right after I wake up every single day and towards the end of the day, I will have a warm and hot bath for 5 min. I feel clean and healthy after each shower. I always dreaming to have my own personal bath tub in my own bathroom.
My bathroom which I have now is really small, I hope to have a larger one with bath tub after I move out, soon.

The sink must be wide enough so I could place all my skin care and lotion.

I could have a small and simple house, but I want my bathroom to be luxury with built in storage or wardrobe.

This bathroom example is PERFECT! This is exactly what I want for my dream bathroom. As you can see it has a built in storage. I LIKE it!!!

Finally, the shower and tub is really simple which I like it also. PERFECT!!! Aroma and essential oil are a great tools for a perfect spa.

After sorting out how does my dream bed/ bathroom look like, now let's move on to the living room. The living room is one of the most spaces in my house. It is inviting, the place where everyone comes around, friends and family. It is also the most visible space in house, therefore I must decorate it as comfortable as possible. Living area must be kept clean and tidy to be viewed by guests visiting for the first time.
I want my living room to be very Asian/ Chinese style.

I wanna add in some bamboo decorations to give the living room more attraction.

The kitchen. I will cook simple dishes for my love ones, and if I have kids in the future. =)

True enough, I would like to have a small and simple kitchen like above. After I have kids and own a bigger family, I might renovate my small kitchen into...

This is a Asian style kitchen.
Because I don't really cook much, so a small and simple kitchen will do for only 2 person.

For additional stuff, I will add in an indoor pool. I will put on any classical or relaxation music while relaxing myself in the pool.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup!

Sorry for not posting these days.
There is nothing much coming up accept for Wednesday, J came back after 6 weeks being 'jail' in the countryside - Kingston.
Everything is back to normal now,
he has to resume work and study.

Im too excited for the coming of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
The main football venue will be held in Johannesburg, it's capacity is 94,700.

The official mascot is named Zakumi and it is yellow and green color. ^^
I don't know what will I be doing during next year June/July world cup,
but I definitely will squeeze in my time to watch this once in a blue moon show.
I still remember in 2005 FIFA, I was one of the girl watching and beating who will be winning for each match. That time I was in Form 4, if not mistaken.
Now as I think about it, time passes fast.
One of my favorite football player from Japan, Hidetoshi Nakata, 32, will not be playing and contributing in the coming FIFA, I think, as he's 'aging' in the football carer.
I used to like voting for Japan because of my idol.

This evening I was enjoying reading Sharon's blog (Ivy's sister).
I read about her life as a married women at the age of 22?23?
She is currently staying in the U.S., i suppose.
Her wedding theme was all full with snow.
What a blessed women she is!

I cant stop scratching myself last night.
My lower part of body was damn itchy
and i was like scratching n sleeping at the same time.
Same goes to J,
he has difficulty sleeping last night cause of the itchiness.
When can i not suffering from this?

There is this new kind of check out machine in Coles lately.
It's like self service,
no need lining up waiting for the counter lady,
if you cant wait.
All you have to do is just scan through the item n pay.
So yea... ah tang n I went to Coles to shop for some gloceries
cause i wanted to eat mee sua.
So we went to buy the stuff like chicken meat, mushroom, red wine n mee.

Penalty!

Evening day out with Christina aka ah Tang.
We were suppose to date each other long time ago, but cant make it due to my holiday visit to Kingston. So finally waited until today.

I decided to go to Harbour Town instead of Tea Tree Plaza (TTP) cause we went there few weeks ago and it was tiring walking around the plaza =.= Not because it's boring but the plaza is too (quite) huge, so usually we shop 50% of the shops.

Hungry after the window shopping, something came out of my mind that i suddenly wanted to eat yirus wrap. I introduced ah tang an Iranian shop called '...' (I forgot the name), but anywhere the lamb kebab was FANTASTIC. It has lamb, salad n wrap. For mine, i dint have the salad in it, just the lamb meat and it cost only A$8.80. I LOVE IT!!! im going there for my 3rd one next time.

Happily walking to my car then i saw something shinny sticking on my car wiper. In my mind was "Ops... not again! I dont want saman anymore." My guess was right, I HAD A FINE as much as A$82!!! T______T" Ah tang will contribute A$20, lucky i brought someone with me huh... haha......

Right, my first penalty happen when i parked outside my nursing home. Maybe someone called the city council ( they think that i might block the road way) or i was lucky when the police or whoever was responsible in that area happen to spot check at 1630. =.=lll

Am i gonna buy medicine for my hayfever? It's getting more and more itchy. Isshh... ...

The witch doctor, there's a story behind...

I was curios about the witchdoctor story after whatever John and Lyn told us this afternoon.
After research in Google, found out that the story behind witchdoctor was bit frightening.

Lyn stories begins :
There was a 34 years old gentleman from Aboriginal background with heart problems. His BP, P, T was totally fine and Lyn found no signs & symptoms of death on him. Lyn questioned him if he is sleeping well at night because he appeared to be pale and fatigue, Lyn advised him to get some sleep, but he just couldn't sleep and apparently he refused sleeping pill. He said there is someone pointing at me and somehow gave him a warning that he's going to die soon. Lyn felt hard to believe in his 'nonsense' story. Before Lyn leave the room, he ask: "Nurse, could you please switch off all the lights in my room and the ones in the corridor, that'll be good. And please shut all doors."
Lyn was ASSUMING he can't fall asleep because of the lights. So she obeyed his commands. As she leave his isolated room, she could feel a sudden of cold and shadowy behind her back!!! Lyn didn't thought much but to leave the room as quick as possible.
At 5 o clock, time for observation. She entered the men's room. It was dark and quite. Lyn silently approach him and observed his temperature under his axila (armpit). 34 degree, it was 38 before this. She didn't realize that he pass away.

Back to witch doctor story.
It's the aboriginal bone pointing.

Of course no magic occurs, but it's just people's belief he would die through superstition or imagination.

Im in ELA2 - acute care.
Challenging huh!!!

Oh... what a loooong holiday again,
gonna miss them all.

Poor Jon fail to sit for the OET test last Sat
cause he wrongly wrote ID/Passport no. into IC ( as in Malaysian Identification Card).
What a silly mistake huh...
He lost A$500+ just for that stupid mistake.
"Jon, no use of using IC number in overseas, who the hake knows what is IC, use passport OK?"

Today's prac was focusing on Palliative Care,
providing comfort care for patient who are dying.
We can't threat their cancer at this stage,
but providing comfort is our main concern.
John and Lyn (our tutor) was telling stories about dying pt in the hospital. @_@
Talking about religious and culture perspective in dealing with dead body.

I went off from my house before 4pm. Drive+searching+looking at the map+go here n there= almost 2 hours gone!!! So have to ring up uncle to catch us up. This post is gonna be very short and brief.
I'm too lazy to post and think of what to post right now.
I kind of making myself very busy - traveled to Kingston SE.
Yeah... I did it.
I went alone. It took approximately 2.30 hours by bus.
It was worth after seeing him. =)

Kingston SE is a very small village/town surrounded by the sea, so it's really if compare to Adelaide. I regretted of not taking photos, nah... what a waste going there and not taking photos! I should indeed. I wouldn't wanna stay there for long, there's not much entertainment around there.

*PPN group work assessment gonna be completed by Wed. Shiok..so many things coming up. Scientific Basis tutorial 2moro, kinda... lazy to attend the class cause only me alone from SP5. T__T But i have the inspiration to attend 2moro cause of stg coming up SOON. =)

Hey there people.

This blog has been 'dead' for while and needs some update.
My life these days has been filled with assignments, Facebook games - Mafia wars, barn buddy, pet society and friends for sale. Thanks to all my friends who invite/teaching me how to play those games and made me kinda addicted to it. -..-'

I should put all these stupid and childish games a side and start doing my 2nd assignment-due Fri 1600pm sharp!!!

I can tell ya i slept very 'early' in the morning these days!
Reason: I usually sleep late in the afternoon ( 1630pm ) then wake up (without alarm) without realizing was already 2000 when I opened my eyesss. @_@ 20_00 <--- yea right. When it comes to the time 'to sleep', my eyes will only fell sleepy and puffy @2-3am. It's not that I'm having insomnia, but I really can't help it when ya ask me lying on bed that early.

My birthday is finally over!

Kind of sad cause dint do much for my birthday.

I had to rush to Uni library just after a classmate of mine called me URGENTLY, asking 'how come you dint turn up? we are all waiting for you' (speaking in Mandarin). I was like, 'what the...'.

So got there at 1000am, park my car, paid $2- just until 1030am. Went to the library just to practice our presentation for 15 min. WTH wasting my money. == Nvm donation for the government to make more parking space.

Then went back home a while, settled down, on FB, bought birthday cake at Firle Plaza. =)

After class, my friends came over to my place to have a party with me. We have pizza, vodka, bak-kut-teh, steamboat etc. It's... fun though.

Well, 3 weeks of uni life has just gone. TIME PASS yeah! Assignments+presentations+little group discussion+reference homework etc. Catching the bus, running after them almost everyday in the morning. How I hope I could just drive myself to uni, but WTH the parking fees are EXPENSIVE dude. And we UNI SA student has no great advantage for parking our cars.
This week I've been spending on books and printer. =( Kind of broke now.

Phew* I got my commonwealth bank debit mastercard recently. HAHAHAHAHA =) very happy right now. I can use this card to purchase/shop online. Great I don't need to use someone else's master or credit card anymore. I'M FREE OF BUYING ANYTHING NOW, but I need to have cash in my bank acct. Gosh...=/

Thanks Ron for accompany me to those car dealers. I want/have to get rid of the Mazda 121 (1994) due to the high kms that the car has run so far. First and second dealers will only accept A$500. After that we went on and on, finally found one company which might want to buy my car for A$1300, but due to mechanical problem, which I'm not sure what's wrong, they wouldn't accept. =( What a sad news, my car only worth A$500. Some say A$500, 800, 1200 and even one men said he will get my car for A$1500, but after that he change his mind to only 800. What the... ... Anywhere I will go back tomorrow and try again.

I WANT TO GO HOME! There are so many things to be done. Firstly my tutor has just approved my assessment for HOA to be due on the 24 Aug. It was originally to be hand in on 17 Aug. But I've request an extension for it for I've got presentation thingy for Scientific Basis 2 and another assignment due on 24 Aug. So all in 1, there are 3 assignments/homeworks to be done, so W-E-L-L D-O-N-E. (-.-")

Eii... Finally one week of Uni life has gone. I can't believe myself in a tall building with crowded people all around. There are bunch of things waiting for me, like printing lecture notes before going for lecture, I don't even know that we have to print all our lecture notes before going to lecture, there is no way the lecturer will feed us word-by-word. Gosh... this is what they call 'Uni Life'. NO MORE SPOON FEEDING! I have to start an independent life.
Okay, first day in practical class, I was the ONLY GIRL who wore like party costume: short pants+boots+colorful top+black socks. -.-" Everyone was staring at me during the moment I entered the laboratory. At that piss off moment, I felt like hiding under the table. Immediately I apologized to the tutor, I promised that I won't make this mistake anymore. NEVER EVER!

I've came across somebody who was a very strong and tough lady, although she can't walk, spent most of her time in bed and in the wheelchair, but she used to be a nice lady. This lady whom I'm talking about all of a sudden had a stroke!!! She's now laying in bed with oxygen tank and IVT drops. "I've advised her to have a good sleep (she usually sleep on time at 7.30pm), but she just hardly close her eyes". "That's maybe she's afraid she won't wake up from sleep anymore!" What a sad tragedy.
Another gentleman came back from the government hospital with MRSA. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus is a bacterium responsible for difficult-to-treat infections in humans. With MRSA patients, we must remember to put on safety equipment like gloves and mask before approaching them. This one can't be treated. He used to walk around the corridor, "When is tea time?", then reading in his bedroom. Now that God has end his life on Wednesday morning. I miss him! I really do!

Let's pray for this two elderly person.

Felt kindof lazy to blog this days. What's up with my life lately? Well, besides working, shopping for groceries, sleeping, slacking, nothing much happens really. I've been sleeping like a cute PIG. Muahahaha... after all the night shifts I have done! -.-
AH!!! ORIENTATION @ UniSA. Can't wait to attend lecture next week. Hope everything is gonna be perfectly FINE! Something running in my mind: how would it look like? Haha... I'm thinking too much, it absolutely won't fell like as if i'm still in primary school. Relax... ... ... ...relax relax relax

Sigh... What a sunny day with 21degree huh! I guess this sunny day won't last long till tomorrow there will be windy and shower. =( Oh, I hate SHOWER and windy and water splash on my clothes.

Gosh UNI SA orientation today. It's actually for 2 weeks!!! I hated those China ladies who sat beside, in front of me, speaking in their own language. =.="'Anywhere, today's orientation by Dr Carol Grech (Program Director for IBNU) is roughly about checking and confirming our study plan. She needs to ensure that we enrolled in a correct course, if enrolled incorrectly, we might need to face consequences.
Tomorrow I have to go back Uni and get my new student ID card done. == Pray that I won't see rain drops tomorrow.

Wow... So last night we celebrated Felix 20th birthday. He actually ordered a mini bus just enough to fit in 20 person. The mini bus took us to Hindley Street (It's a night club street). He booked a karaoke room. We went in a crowd, so we guys have to split into 2 groups, 2 rooms.

I saw a cool and luxury Mazda 6 today. I was wondering what kind of model was it. Do I ever see it somewhere? Internet? Magazine? Mazda official website? When I reach home after buying my lovely dinner from KFC, there was an advertisement about Mazda 6. The advertisement was about the brand new Mazda 6 I saw at the street this afternoon. It's called Mazda 6 MZR-CDDiesel. It is powered by 136kW, 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine. What is interesting is it features premium Bose® 240watt amplifier and 8 speakers. Price range between $30.000-$45.000. SO YA...HAVE TO WAIT!!!

Meanwhile, I fall in love with this Mazda 3 SP25 as well. Gosh... Now this one has Bluetooth and cruise control.

Micheal Joseph Jackson (1958-2009), 50, died on the 26 June 2009, 1426 Los Angeles time of cardiac arrest.

I was actually quite shock about this world news. Even when I was at work, I swarmed around the television sets in my resident's room. I am not a fan of Jackson, from the first time after his plastic surgery, I eventually HATED how he looked. But... come on! He's a legend! There will be no more, NEVER BE ANYONE COMPARABLE TO MICHEAL JACKSON.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTINA!

We used to call her Ah Tang, because Tang is her family name. lol...

She's a very nice, quite talkative, hardworking lady. I think she's the richest among my friends. I said this because, first, she's STILL(after all this years) SINGLE (available), and she spent her money all by herself. Secondly, she works VERY HARD. I really admire her that she could do a double shift in a day. For me, please! I can't! I JUST CAN'T, MY BODY CAN'T HANDLE IT! I've tried once, and I nearly put my patient into a fall! What a risk huh! My only long shift is ND (Night Duty) for 8 hours. Ops...I'm talking more and more about myself, this post was suppose to be about Christina.

Poor Chris. She was planning to have a birthday dinner with her friends, but all of them from Flinders Uni have to sit for exam. hahaha... So I think they gonna postponed it to someday. However, I'm going to her place tonight to bring her a birthday cake which was baked by Erma (our work colleague). I want it too!

Anywhere, I would like to wish her a very JOYFUL & HAPPY BIRTHDAY! May God bless her.

LIFE seen to go on and on, I can't wait until the day I step into Uni. I'm starting to search for cheap textbooks like the Pharmacology of Nursing Care 6th edition. I found it on ebay, but it's price is not far different from the bookshop. I cost around A$100/+? *wondering... ... ...

Guess what I received this afternoon?
A brochure from the Mazda company. I've sent an offer to have more information about Mazda 3. It was... wow!!! It's like I'm going to own this car ONE DAY! *pls...
