BBQ for 3 last night while awaiting for new year to come.

2010!

Dear fellow friends who read my blog constantly,
this will be my last post for the year 2009.
Today is going to be a farewell for the year 2009

This year is a very special year for me.
It is my first year in UNI SA.
I have been living in Adelaide for 3 years! hurray...
As time flies, my age grows as well.
I have meet lots of different people from Uni and also from my workplace.
Talking about my workplace - St.George's Park Nursing Home,
Thank God I have a steady job and I do not want to lose it.
I spent most of my time there.
I love my work place although sometimes people at work often... ...
All I can say is people are different in a different ways.
When I started working in the community,
I knew that earning money is NOT EASY! ! !
And to face with different people who have different skin color and different culture,
is really a very tough job.
Sometimes in some situation, it makes me just want to give up and walk away.


This year March, I spent 3 months in M'sia.
All I did was hanging out with school mates and
eat and sleep!
It was really a LOOONG holiday for me that time.
I wish that time could stop during that period of time.
But... I couldn't be staying like that forever.
I need to work and spend my own hard earn money. $_$


After I came back from M'sia to Aus in May 09,
I moved into a shared house with Elvina.
After a few months, I moved again into Campbeltown somewhere in Oct 09.


Now that 2009 is ending soon in a few hours,
I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!
I am going home again in Feb 2010.
I've missed 2 years of Chinese New Year ever since I came overseas.
Goodbye for now, 2009!

What I did yesterday was work, eat and sleep! haha...

Finally Christmas is here!

I was waiting for this day to come - it's not because of the celebration, but it's toward the end of 2009 and I can go home soon!
This year x'mas is nothing to me without family and relatives, without any celebration, the feeling is no good!
The only good thing is I was paid A$41 per hour.
My hometown is MUCH MORE BETTER!


I used to love Christmas before I came to Aus.
Before Christmas come, my cousin and I will shop for pressie.
Then we will place all the gift under a x'mas tree,
then during x'mas eve we will exchange pressie among ourselves.
Now I have to buy my own pressie and no more surprise ! ! !


Okay this morning I did a morning shift from 0730 - 1300.
Get residents ready (those including feeding breakfast, showering, grooming etc) for Christmas lunch with family and relatives.
All visitors were served with turkey.
I love it!
TA DA... ... ...

Staffs of St. George's were served with turkey as well. This is mine! ^^

I just received my very first Christmas pressie from him.
And it's BOSE™ companion 3 - A$399! ! !
Thank you, dear!
Currently I am very satisfied with it's performance.


Now searching through the net for a pressie for him.

My mum called last night saying that they will go for vacation.
And poor me have to work.
Off to work soon!

What's the use of having holiday?

H-E-L-L-O- people I am back again in blogger.com
I just realized, my blog is getting more and more boring
and all my post are getting shorter.
That's because I really, have no idea of what to blog,
& my life is just that boring! ! !
Stay at home almost everyday.
If not working, then eat, sleep, online.
I WANT TO GET OUT SOMEWHERE! ! !

My holiday-to-do list:

3. work (for money sake)
4. SHOPPING
5. outing
6. cook good food
7. Malaysia trip(next year)

I have just finished my final (2nd year) exam last week!
This is great because it's holiday as people get holiday so a poor worker like me can have heaps of shift!!! (I hope so...)

People keep telling me
'Oh! You know you should work hard, to pay this, pay that, pay those, bla bla bla...'
Yea right after paying, I have only a few hundreds left.
Am I too greedy in terms of money?
My mum used to say that I am very 'money face' person.
It's TRUE! ! !

Christmas is just around the corner.
Again, I MISS HOME!
Looks like everyone around me has gone home to spend time with their family.

crazy H-O-T weather

FINALLY EXAM is O.V.E.R. ! ! !
I sat for 3 SUBJECTS in total, 3 DAYS in a row! ! !
(1) Health of Older Adult (HOOA)
(2) Scientific Basis of Clinical Practice 2
(3) Professional Practice N (PPN)

Now is the time to pack all my school books, those that will make me think of school, assignments and exam! When I go to school, I think of exam and assignments which drive me crazy. . .


Adelaide had an EXTREME HOT/ HEAT WAVE for 7 DAYS! ! !
This is gonna be a starting for summer.
This was reported to be the hottest ever in SA in the month of November.
Last weekend we bought an air cooler,
or else our room is gonna be as hot as an oven.

We fill our weekend time by baking and clean the house.

YES! Now i L.O.V.E. baking.
I did not take photos of the cupcakes we bake last Sunday.
Banana cupcakes! I LOVE it!

I love summer,
but not when it's bloody 39 degree today, I suppose tomorrow as well.
Common, give me a break.
Meanwhile, the air-con is not as cold as what it suppose to be.
When can i put on my bikini and lay by the beach...

I chosen blue as the theme for my blog this time is because it's summer.

Bye Rostrevor, Hello Campbeltown

FINALLY this is the time for me to sit, lay back and blog.
I have been living in my new-moved-in house for 2 weeks WITHOUT INTERNET !
So yea, past 2 weeks was a 'bye-bye Rostrevor, hello Campbeltown'.
I have heaps and heaps to blog during the 'internet break'.
Everything went will here. I really L.O.V.E. this house.
Rent was cheapER and I have no worry about meal, AT ALL.

-Moving from Rostrevor to Campbeltown-

Ben (my new housemate) and his mate were helping us moving the bed, mattress, table and chair by a trailer. They rented the trailer for 50 bucks per day.

Note: It was a great hot day and it were tiring for them to lift and carry under the sun.

-Dining area-
After a day transferring and unpacking thigs, the house looked clean and tidy after an effort of cleaning and vacuuming.

-My housemate-
Jee, Ron & Esther. They were exhausted after a busy day.

Our landlord, Ferry and his wife, Yenny were preparing dinner for us.
We had BBQ with Peter, John, Jennifer and Jacinta.

Overall, I would rate this house 8/10.
2 more marks to make it 10.
WHY?
Because of the air-conditioner.
We are craving for it as the weather is so freaking and bloody hot!!!
Could harder sleep at night, it really gave me a night mare.
