Assignments and test are finally over now!

Clinical placement still to goes...

I'll be away for 6 weeks.

I'm gonna miss all my friends in Adelaide, miss shopping, miss my working colleague, etc.

What are the uses of clinical placement?
Well, during placement, it's a period of learning, normally outside the institute, where the learning outcomes are an intended part of the programme of study.

I have never been there yet, but these are some photos which I took from internet.
I will capture some more photos when I'm there.

Wow..., I really admire them for doing so good in IELTS. As we all knew that IELTS test in Adelaide is the HARDEST!

Congrats for those who score more than 7, you are now an Enrolled Nurse in SA.

Congrats for those who score more than 6, you can now enroll in UNI SA.

Last but not least, for those who could not make it, WE HAVE TO TRY HARD!!!

IELTS

Yesterday I have an IELTS test with my friends in UNI SA.

What is IELTS?

International English Language Testing System.

It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking, for people like me, who need to get registered in the nurses board of South Australia. We have to score band 7 in order to get register with them. But to enter UNI SA, band 6 will be enough.

For listening, it was quite 'okay'.

For reading, gosh.......
What the ****?
Have to read and read then try to figure out the correct answer. I have to set in my mind that this reading test only last for ONE HOUR! Can't take my sweet time reading word by word. I din't realize it was only 20 minutes left. End up, I only did A FEW questions from the last page. Gosh... It was too late for me to finish every questions in that short 20 minutes. I think I only did 5 questions!!! Ah... I hate myself!!! Then what did I do? Just 'tembak' answers. What to do? Who knows I 'tembak' the correct answers.

Then move on to writing test, at least still better than the reading part. I hope I wrote the correct points and not much grammar mistake.

After that, speaking!
Worse still!!!
Dunno how to answer.
My mind suddenly went BLANK!!!
I looked at him, he looked at me. This is how I lose marks. %%%
First, he asked me to introduce myself.
Then, ask me a question on ' Describe a person who is good at his/her own job'
This was ok, but move on, I forgot what question he asked about. As long as I knew I don't know how to give answers.

So let's see how is my result going to be.

Assignment...My feelings

Can't imagine I'm still having some assignmentS to hand it in and my clinical placement is COMING SOON
in 23 days from NOW!

I've lost the question paper my lecture gave me. =.="
But will borrow it from my classmate.
Currently I'm thinking of what to bring for my 6 weeks placement in countryside.
Damn boring!!!
Felt like crying out to the earth.
Angela and Dane will be going with me.
So hopefully we can take care of each other during our 'sweet 6 weeks' placement. -.-"
No money! No friends! No shopping!
Poor thing... ...
Have to wake up early in the morning for AM shift from Mon-Fri.
I don't mind about PM shift. =)
Mobile phone + laptop are very important.
I'm preparing a bunch/bundle of tv series and movies.
But gotta write my journal and ANMC Code of conduct.
