Happy summer holiday

Can't believe Jan 2010 is coming to an end .
Australia day is over .
16 more days until Chinese New Year .
This is an update for what's happening over the last 2 days .

25th Jan - Dinner / small gathering at Ivy's place .
As in my previous post i did mention .


Then late at night ,
a birthday surprise for Mr. Jee ,
and YAY he is now , FINALLY 21 .
He can have a key ( freedom ) .
I'm waiting for mine too !
OMG is this a hint or something ?

26th Jan : Hahndorf trip
This year , we decided to take the bus and head off to Adelaide Hills , Hahndorf .
It took us roughly 45 mins to reach our destination .
We had lunch at German Arms Hotel .


As soon as we walk out , there were a pair of horses caught our attention !
Many of us suggested to take a 'horse ride' ,
and we did !
It was actually 20 bucks per person ( for adult ) ,
but they gave us a special price for just 100 bucks for 7 person .
Awesome so we hoop into it .


The horses took us to the well known strawberry farm !
I HAVE NEVER SEE OR EVEN STEP INTO A STRAWBERRY FARM BEFORE
in my entire life !



Allright , it was A$3 per person for entry ,
and they give you a small plastic container to collect your strawberry ,
and at the end before leaving the farm ,
you gonna pay A$9 ( per kg ) , i think , for the strawberry you have collected !
Those little strawberry although they look small ,
but it was so sweet ,
so that's why it was worth a visit !

This morning at 19 c ,
I was awake by J, drove him to Uni SA for his English test .

Summer and the heatwave will be coming soon .
Air condition should be fix ASAP !
But guess what ,
it will only be fix on summer next year .

Anw , i won't be 'enjoying' the heat in Feb .
During that time i will be in my hometown with my family celebrating CNY .
WU-HUU . . .

I need to get myself some new clothes for this coming , 3 weeks from now
Chinese New Year !
What am i so excited about ?
I missed 2 years !

Can't believe my friend was engaged before me .

I had a very cute resident ,
she just talks & talks as if it's the end of the world ,
& she has to deliver some important message to her family .
But she never get to the point of what she gonna say .
She can talks about anything & very randomly .

e.g.
- Can you get me a remote control from Dick Smith ?
- I will meet you in Woolies ( Woolworth ) tomorrow .
- Hey kid , you did not put the teddy bear under the x'mas tree in Victoria Square . Now where is it ? ( OMG , she actually remembered while we were just fooling with her , she took her words seriously )
- I had a champagne with my doctor when i was admitted to the hospital few years ago .
- I want my strepsils ! in my handbag !

And one day i asked her .
Me : Do you remember my name ?
Her : Erm. . . let me think . ( thinking . . . ) I do remember , wait a minute .
Me : . . .
Her : E-rica . Is that right ?
Me : That's right . You remember me .
Her: See ! I'm not that bad, aren't I ? I do remember things . I'm not that stupid .

It's like everyone of my friend has updated their blog
and i need to get mine done as well.
This could hardly happen ( update blog ) because
nothing much happen to my life
besides working and sleeping.
But other than that, im looking forward so much
on going home next month !
Thinking about spending time with my family & close relatives & friends,
it give me inspiration to work even more harder !
So i need to make & save money ( i did, indeed =) ).


SA received the most humid and hot weather all year.
Over the city in SA,
the mercury went up to 42 c on Mon then 43 c on Tues ! ! !
Let me tell you the feeling : IT'S LIKE IN THE OVEN BBQing YOURSELF !
Room temperature : min 38 c
Outdoor : 42 c
There are NO AIR-CON in my house ,
only air cooler and fan could HARDLY SATISFIED me.
Worst come to worst , we desperately went to a friend's house just for the air-con.
Or stay inside in a local supermarket.
Yesterday was a F.U.L.L.S.T.O.P. for the heatwave.
Thank God it was raining cats and dogs in the morning and
i slept until noon time.

'31 dead in heatwave'


AT least 31 people have perished in South Australia's 40 degree-plus heatwave, while firefighters are battling huge blazes threatening homes, power installations and a coalmine in Victoria.

There were 22 sudden deaths reported to the ambulance service in yesterday's 43.1C heat – the third consecutive day above 40C, he said. Today police have reported a further nine deaths across metropolitan Adelaide and country SA.

Let me go home

It's gonna be very hot this weekend.
Actually it started from yesterday when the temperature rise,
my mood began to rise as well !
All i did was to sleep.
Don't care about the hot/heated weather.
I realized this afternoon when i was having a nap,
i sweat myself ! ! !
Even now it's close to 9pm,
it is still 37 degree !

I need the time to past quick.
So i don't have to suffer the heatwave here !
By next month i'll be in my home. yay...

A brand new year, a brand new life!
BBQ for 3 last night while awaiting for new year to come.

I recon last night BBQ makes me ill now.
I felt I have back ache and cold hands!
OH NO! ! !
I have no time to be sick this time.
At this critical moment I need to WORK!
